I’ve been listening to a lot of podcasts recently about AI and I have to say, my mind has been BLOWN hearing all of the different ways it can be used for so many different purposes. I really do believe it is the most significant technology for a generation.
But, as with most new technologies, it will have a downside. Already, half of the content on Facebook, X.com seems to be AI generated or AI modified. Posts on LinkedIn have obviously been written by robots.
It’s one of the reasons that I’m writing this without the us of AI - how can we show our authentic selves if we’re running and filtering that through some kind of super-computer.
However…
I do use AI every day at work for scheduling tasks, building work plans, proof reading emails and summarising documents into ‘Too Long; Didn’t Read’ versions for me. That way I can be a lot more efficient without selling my soul to Skynet (you knew I’d get a Terminator reference in there didn’t you?)
What’s your experience, how have you been using AI? Do you see it as good technology or something with potentially dark and apocalyptic consequences.
Let me know, I’d love to hear.
Neil
